Terms & Conditions
Last updated 1 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Zitdy, a platform for pledging micro-sponsorships to football clubs that are charged per goal scored. By creating an account or making a pledge, you agree to these terms.
1. The pledge model
A pledge is a standing authorization: you choose a club, a goal scope (home goals, away goals, or both), and an amount per goal. Each time your chosen club scores a qualifying goal, Zitdy charges that amount to the payment method you saved with Stripe, our payment provider.
Pledges have no fixed end date and no upfront charge — you are only charged when a goal is scored. If you set a monthly cap, Zitdy stops charging further goals once that cap is reached for the calendar month, and resumes at the start of the next month.
2. Pausing and cancelling
You can pause or cancel an active pledge at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect immediately — no further goals are charged after you cancel, including a goal scored in a match that is still in progress at the moment you cancel.
3. Failed and disputed charges
If a charge fails (for example, an expired card or insufficient funds), your pledge stays active and we email you so you can update your payment method. We do not automatically retry a failed charge for the same goal.
If you believe a charge was made in error, contact the club directly using the contact details on their Zitdy page, or reach us at the address below. We review disputes case by case and refunds are issued at our discretion.
4. Fees
Creating a Zitdy account is free. The amount charged per goal is exactly the amount you set when you pledged — Zitdy does not add a separate platform fee on top of your pledge.
5. Club accounts
Clubs are onboarded and managed by club administrators, who are responsible for the accuracy of information shown on their club page (description, fundraising goals, photos, and contact details). Zitdy may archive a club’s page — hiding it from the public marketplace while preserving fan and pledge records — at our discretion or at a club’s request.
6. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the platform, provide false payment information, or violate these terms.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Zitdy evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of Zitdy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
